All In A Days Work

From start to finish, this week has been packed with valuable activity for me. Monday started out with researching re-sale homes for a home buyer client and later showing them to the client.  None were a fit, so my case for a new home for this family is now supported by the lack luster re-sale properties available in their price range.  I describe these homes as lack luster only because of this client’s criteria and expectations.  Back in my home office, I locate a standing inventory home in new home subdivision which meets all of the criteria they have shared with me.

Tuesday, began with a continuing education class on “Successfully Selling HUD Homes In Georgia” and a meeting with my newly formed team.  Then a showing of the standing inventory home I found the day before. Client loves it and wants to put in an offer. Yes, an offer on a new construction home where the builder is doing great and has only this one home available!!! Well, I am known for negotiating well on behalf of my clients so why not now?

Wednesday, I bring in the day with a meeting with my broker and a couple other agents from my office for a pow wow on gaining and keeping momentum in our business for 2014. I leave the meeting with a couple great ideas to put to use.  Then I end the day meeting my client to submit the offer on the standing inventory home.

Thursday, was supposed to be my catch up on my paperwork and blog day. It did not work out that way. I ended up spending the better half of the day on the phone negotiating the offer I submitted the day before. That’s okay because now that client is UNDER CONTRACT! I spent the rest of the day avoiding my paperwork and researching homes for an investor client I have who wishes to purchase 2 properties. My goal is to get him under contract on at least one property next week.

Friday, turned out to be my proclaimed slow day. I spent the early morning on the phone with clients and prospects tying up loose ends. Then I took my son my mom and we all wandered around Walmart way too long. We missed my sons nap time which meant…no nap and no work getting done for me until he went to bed. I spent the whole night writing scripts for a couple videos I am scheduled to shoot next week with a metro Atlanta loan officer relating to financing HUD Homes.

Well, it’s Saturday and I have gotten a lot of my pressing tasks finished including this blog post.  I am sorry I missed you this week, but I have not been sitting around. I am out there in the metro Atlanta real estate market educating myself and my clients, buying and selling and making a difference in my community. I hope your week was filled with you love to do too!
