Sensei Came Through for Grasshopper with Google+ Problem
I posted several weeks ago that I was having problems posting my ActiveRain blog on Google+. Of course, I was baffled when I started getting blocked and then the Trulia merger came about and I thought this was the issue. But sadly after adding the word 'trulia" into my email links, it was still blocked and not working.
ActiveRain Ambassador Jerry Newman sent me an email and said he could help. We emailed back and forth a few times and this week we talked for about an hour. Jerry had me go through all the links on ActiveRain and Google+. We both realized part of the problem was that I have 2 Google+ accounts and my gmail seems to default to the other one. So after diagnosing the problems, Jerry and I both decided that I better shut down the 2nd Google+ account.
After shutting it down, and going through Google Authorship another time and then shutting down the computer and restarting it .......I was then able to post with my Google+ Social Media Button.
Jerry Newman was a great help and I would still be confused and not able to post if it were not for Jerry Newman. I was reading his Google+ account while checking out his links and saw many comments from other members who talked about what a great guy Jerry is and how smart he is and I can attest to that now. He knows a lot about computers, websites and he even has his social media buttons at the signature area of his email. How remarkable. We talked again this morning and I told him it was now working and it was all because of him. Jerry Newman was on his way out to show property but made time to help me again this morning. What a guy!
ActiveRain is made up of a lot of professionals with many backgrounds and we all have our own specialities. Reach out to someone you admire and ask them for help if you have a problem. We are a network of AR members who share and learn from each other.
Don't sit on your hands like I did but reach out and ask if you need some assistance or if you just want to say hello. See you in the Rain and on Google+.
