Northern Maine hunting and fishing, to have the best, it helps to be a little off the beaten path.
A tad further up the pike, Interstate 95. And to be where there are way more wildlife infested woods, fish filled lakes and streams, brooks for angling.
Don't take this the wrong way but people are great.
However. Not when too many people are tapping, tramping into a precious natural resource.
That's the kind of pressure that does not help the sport of hunting, fishing in Maine.
Irritates the wildlife and fish in Maine too.
Don't worry, the hidden protected stomping grounds are enjoyed by folks that are good stewards. All treading lightly. And we are not over run, swamped with wall to wall people. Why we are the 4th lowest crime state too.
Not too many people. No overcrowding, not about to change either. That is the beauty of don't lock your door Northern Maine. Where people are helpful, friendly, hard working and very family oriented.

You do it one way only. In as good, even better shape than they we lucky enough to received them.
