This is the time of year when Southwest Mississippi gets hit hard with pine tree pollen.  Some places of the country have dust storms; I guess you could say we have pollen storms.  The greenish-yellow substance covers everything-cars, especially.  You might as well not wash your car until it's all over, because the next day it'll be covered again!  Sometimes you could even see the pollen blowing in the wind!  But the last week or two has seemed more intense than usual (witness the pictures!).  When I was younger, the allergy doctor told me I had the worst allergies of anyone he'd ever tested, so I was really surprised to make it through the worst of the pollen invasion without even one sneeze.  Then all of a sudden the other day it hit me and I started coughing and sneezing in an almost dangerous manner! 

It will get inside if you let it!
