Seller sells Raffle Tickets for a Chance to Win her House

After having their home on the market for two years, the Karen Crawford and Dennis Kelly decided to hold a raffle and give away their house. Tickets costs $100 a piece. In 78 days they sold 6,289 tickets. They ended up making $225,000 more than they had planned and donated the excess to charity. This story appeared on the Early Show on CBS, for more details visit Early Show Real Estate Article.

This is just an example of how creative marketing is needed in this tough market. My own creative technique to sell homes is my Guaranteed Sale Program in which I guarantee your home will be sold in 120 days or I will buy it myself.

Great story, nice way to get a write off as well. You have to be creative in this market!

Yeah I saw the story on good morning america too I think. That is great that they are going to donate the extra money to charity instead of being selfish and keeping it to by lavish things.

I think your idea is great too about the 120 days or you'll by it yourself idea. Your either extremely good or extremely rich (lets hope its both though ;-) lol)
