Asheville 1031 Essential Horse Properties Preview
We walk the land.
We check to see if there are rocks, holes, trees toxic to horses.
We take a first-hand look at the condition of the soil and pasture, and what kind of grasses are in residence out in that pasture.
We want to know about the water source.
We check to see if the property is fenced, and to see what kind of fencing is there-the height, the condition.
We observe what’s around the land.
A Few Important Questions:
Is there a hog farm next door? Is there an old apple orchard where chemicals were used and now are in the groundwater? Do neighboring properties use pesticides?
Horse Property- Asheville-Style: We saw a really, really nice horse property the other day while we were out looking for clients. The tack room had hot water and a washer and dryer. And a well-worn sofa.
