Every Saturday in May, come be apart of the Central Peninsula Garden Club Workshop Weekends. Workshops vary depending on site location. The club's annual "Workshop Weekends" start the weekend of May 3rd. There will be workshops on a variety of gardening and outdoor topics. There are nineteen different topics that will be discussed. This will be a great chance to learn great gardening techniques and skills, and of course knowledge. Registration is required for all except for on May 17th with the Birding Festival Speaker. This will be at 4pm at the Kenai Visitor Center. Landscape Architect Nancy Casey, will speak on Rain Gardens.
Keep in mind that workshops often do fill up fast so register asap. Some have additional supply fees. All locations and times vary. Please note dates, times, and travel time between workshops. Learn lots and have a good time! Get to know your local Garden Club Members!!
Workshops will be $5 per person for all workshops. Register in advance by copying and posting your chosen workshop information below in an email to Marion nelson at mmkn@ptialaska.net.
