Do You Use And Recommend DocuSign?

By

I am curious about how many Realtors and other professionals here in the "Rain" use Docusign?

I signed up for a one week trial but barely had time to play with it and did not really use it for any legal document.

Do you use DocuSign? Do you recommend it? How often do you use it. I tried the trial and like the way it allowed me to save my signature to use on all documents.

Is it worth the $10 a month they are asking? I believe that would only allow me 5 different documents within that 30 day time period.

Any feedback would greatly be appreciated.

We started using it last year for our flooring business and it has been great and well worth the investment.  we did it for the year (annual subscription).

I have not done enough business to make it worth my while...besides we are getting away form the personal side of business.

Without any kind of personal contact it is easy for clients to seek out others that will give them that 'Persoanl' touch.

We use Authentisign. Both of the MLS systems I belong to provide it 'free of charge', in other words, we pay for it in our monthly fees.

It is pretty nice when dealing with out of area buyers and sellers. It certainly makes sure they don't miss any spots to initial or sign, because the program takes them to each place.

Our local MLS gives us Authentisign for about $30 per year. It is a great service.  I've used it many times and it works well.

Hi Mike - I have authentisign, and it seems to work pretty well. I went with that system because it allowed me to use my ipad, my iphone, or a laptop. It's also integrated into our tarnet system that you probably also use, so you don't have to download every form. All that being said, I only use it when the client is out of town, or it's a one form signature I need. I would rather have the person sign it in person so that I can explain any questions they may have. I think the digital signatures make the process very impersonal, and I would rather avoid that if possible.

It would be profitable at $2 a document there are so many to choose from I would have expected more from Docusign

Mike, I use Dot Loop.  That was provided to us for free at KW and now that I am at Sotheby's I have continued to use it even though pretty much everyone there uses Docusign.  I tried Docusign briefly when I moved here but I didn't see the advantage.  Dot Loop does for free what Docusign charges for and if you want the advanced version that allows you to upload docs permanently so you can fill them out right on Dot Loop, it costs about the same as the generic version of Docusign that does not allow that.  I just use the free Dot Loop and it works great, love it.

I use Echosign. You can use it for no charge up to 5 documents a month. After that, the monthly fee is $14.95. I use it all the time. Wouldn't be without it.

I work with lots of out of town buyers and it's just so easy. I have clients who travel alot and it's not a concern. I have even written offers while on vacation and my clients never even knew I was gone.

I prepared the document, Echosign sent it for signatures and then I forwarded it to the listing agent. The client automatically gets signed copies after all signatures received so I don't have to bother with that either.

It's not impersonal at all. I call my clients and still walk them through the documents, I just don't have to drive 30 minutes to do it.
