Quitting Lasts Forever

Quitting Lasts Forever

“Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day,

or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else

will take its place. If I quit however it lasts forever.”

Lance Armstrong, American Cyclist

As I see it . . . . . . .

Quitting lasts forever

To achieve . . . . is to endure . . . . to continue . . . .  to remain focused on your objectives . . . . until you successfully achieve them.

On some days it will feel like you have to climb a mountain to take the next step to make any forward progress . . . . There will be others days where you feel the wind at your back and your sailing along.

There will be times that you feel that you will feel overwhelmed . . . . and the pain to move you forward is too much to pay.

In any worthwhile endeavor there is a price of admission and tolls to be paid for your forward progress . . . . and your success journey is no difference.

When you come to that crossroad on your success journey . . . . Remember pain is temporary . . . . quitting lasts forever and anything worthwhile as a price  attached to it to achieve it.

A simple fact that many fail to understand, Lou.  The little train that could....did...eventually.

Lou- right. Don't focus on the pain but the reward.  The consequence of quitting is greater.

A good reminder, Lou. Quitting is almost never the better option although it sometimes seems it is. Once done, quitting can become an easy habit to fall into and you become known for it.

Unless you are quitting something that doesn't work, hinders your progress or jeopradizes your health.  Then it's good to quit.

Lou, keep these messages coming! Quitting is definitely everlasting and, most importantly, definite. There is no going back from quitting, there is no retracing your steps, or retracing your decision. Something to think about whenever quitting may be an opinion, it should never be.
