The Abita Roasting Company opened their first location at 504 Water Street along the Tchefuncte River in Madisonville, LA. The Abita Roasting Company is a craft coffee roasting company focused on prime and specialty grade single origin and blended coffees. They roast to order in small batches using a gas-fired infrared roasting drum. Their signature namesake blend is the Princess Abita which has a rich, uncommon and full flavor.
The hours of operation are 6am to 9pm and the menu includes delicious Homemade Pastries, Muffins, Breakfast Croissants, Bagels, Soups, Salads, Sandwiches, Panini’s, Fresh Coffees and Teas. They also sell Cold-Press Coffee and Whole Bean or Ground Reserve Blends. In January 2014, there are plans for a second location in Covington, LA.
