Jo Soss Wins Week 3 in Military Relocation Contest

Congratulations to Jo Soss for her winning Week Three post, Naval Base Kitsap |Online Relocation Pacakge | Week Three | Out and About | The Arts. Your 500 points for winning Week 3 are in the Mail!

John S. Murphy (Patrick AFB Area School Guide) and CynthiaTilghman (Educational Opportunities for Camp Lejeune Marine Families) were very close on her heels. Thank you to everyone who participated in Week 3 - All of you had GREAT posts that will be helpful to families relocating to your areas.

Many many thanks to the judges for Week Three - Adam Waldman, Richard Bolen and Lisa Heindel.

Our goal when this contest started was to encourage more content-rich posts targeted to military and civilian personnel relocating to a military installation near you. We hope there will be several more in the last week of this contest and in the future.

The deadline for this week is Saturday, March 29, at midnight (based on the time stamp appearing on the post). Results for Week 4 will be posted around April 1, and it will take another several days to compile scores for the whole month to post the overall winners.

Margaret, congratulations are in order for Jo Soss once again and to you for such a creative and useful contest. I regret that I haven't been as active in this one as I had planned. Life, business, and other things have just gotten in the way. However, I do plan to follow the lead of the participants here and create some of these types of posts for our area whether now or more likely sometime later.
