W.T. Woodson High School students earned SAT scores and AP participation to place them fifth among Northern Virginia public high schools.
Former Principal Robert Elliot, describes Woodson as a school focused on the 4A’s, that is, academics, activities, arts, and athletics. This commitment to the 4A’s can be seen with the tripling in size of their visual arts program. An example of Woodson’s athletic prowess would be the fact that their athletes have won a state championship each year.
