Kevin ~ we've used Sure-Fit slip covers because they fit tight on sofas and loveseats and if installed properly, many times you can't tell it's a slip cover.  They come in great neutral shades of sage, brown, tan, beige, which provides sellers a lot of options.

Slips covers are a wonderful idea for those sofas/loves and chairs that have been worn and are outdated.  Thanks for the blog.

Kevin, Slipcovers really can be a Stager's best friend.  It is a great solution that can also save the home owner some money, instead of bringing in rental furniture.

Good to hear a home stagers take on it.  It can really transform a living room.  It takes the focus off the furniture and puts it on the room.  Do you have any suggestions on colr Sally?

Sally - I agree with slipcovers.

Maureen - great advice and will check them out.

Kevin - stick with neutral colors they work with everything.  White, off white or beige are great picks.
