If Your House Took a Selfie, What Would It look Like?
Selfies are all the rage it seems.
Selfie is even a new word for 2013 – indeed, Oxford Dictionaries proclaimed “selfie” to be their international word of the year!
They seem to have been popularized by celebrities and plastered all over the web, with more and more of them showing up on everyone’s Facebook and Twitter pages these days.
Some are pretty funny, and some are, well, more questionable.
They’re spontaneous, in the moment, and meant for sharing.
At least most of them.
They certainly get lots of attention even if one might question the sharing part!
I took this selfie 7 years ago right after coming home from the beach on a rare day of relaxation. I use it every year here on AR during the summer months as my profile shot, as many know.
It’s become an annual tradition. I guess I was ahead of the curve.
It was purely accidental, since I was home alone and that was the only way to get the photo.
So I wonder what a house selfie would look like??!!
Given some photos we see taken by agents in the MLS, one might guess a house selfie could be gorgeous while others would be truly laughable, even embarrassing.
Perhaps no better than some taken by agents.
Spontaneous, in the moment, and maybe intended to poke fun at the house.
Maybe that’s the excuse for some of the things we see.
