Well, a semi-nice day to have the bike and distance running event know as "The Boll Weevil 100" here in Enterprise, Alabama. Started off around 70 degrees and didn't get too much warmer. Overcast and spotty showers kept the temperature down. I haven't seen the official numbers of runners and riders, but it should be a record year.
The local Enterprise Lions Club has spearheaded this effort. The VFW Chapter 6683, The American Legion Post 73, and L.A.V.A. (Lower Alabama Veterans Alliance) along with MANY local groups, organizations, businesses and individuals joined together to help show Wounded Veterans how much we care.
I'll do another post later on more of the background of this, just wanted to get a few photos out now, then off to bed!
