Is It Time To Start Using Video In Your Newsletters?

I personally have not sent out a newsletter for a few years.  We used to do one back in the 2005-2007 range.  We tried some other variations of newsletters after that but it did not seem to get many looks.

However, now I am getting going with a video Newsletter format. Simply put, video gets 60% more click thru's.  I feel Newsletter content needs to be mostly my own content.  Several Realtors, Mortgage Brokers, Inspectors, and title company's send out newsletters that are someone else's content.  ALMOST NO ONE reads those, so what is the point?!?!

I blog anyway so I have content that is mine that I can re-purpose in a newsletter. I do a lot of videos now so I can come up with one or two a months that are newsletter worthy!  Staying relevant with past customers is changing in 2014...using video more has put a spark in my business.  This Video Newsletter, will help with the past customer and sphere of influence follow up.

See Talk Fusion for Video Newsletter information.

I already use video in my monthly newletter and have for a few years.  We use our own graphs and no canned info--I believe in the power of fresh content!

Chuck, Thanks for this post, videos are a very popular way to reach out to your market and engage them. You are right, no one wants to read some canned info that every one else has, using your own material is the way to go.
