A Charity Bike Ride, the 8th Annual Wheels of Hope Ride, Lewisburg WV
The 8th Annual Wheels of Hope Ride starts on July 19, 2014, with about 300 riders this year. The event benefits local cancer survivors and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Please note that the event starts on Friday at Carnegie Hall's Ivy Terrace with a concert open to the public.
The Wheels of Hope 8th annual ride promises to be the most sublime bicycle ride of your life. The century bike ride of 112 miles and 8500+ feet of climbing will leave you tired but so proud of your accomplishment. This new 31 mile route has many of the best parts of riding in beautiful West Virginia. The four routes traverse one and two lane, paved country roads provides beautiful farmland views with mountain vistas. All rides begin and end in historic Lewisburg, voted “THE COOLEST small town in America” for 2011 by Budget Travel magazine.

10:00 AM Meet at Caldwell for the River Trail bike ride. A rails to trails easy recovery ride. The trail is fine gravel and a very easy grade. Cost is $35.00, and it’s great for families! Bike rental specials from Hill & Holler Bikes in Lewisburg.
