What's the Neighborhood Like?
Briargrove is going through transformation where the 1950's ranch style homes are slowly being torn down and replaced with newly constructed two-story homes. Briargrove Property Owners, Inc., the homeowners association, reports that a significant percentage of current homeowners are children of families who had moved away, but have now returned to raise their own families in the same neighborhood where they grew up in. This is a testament to how tight-knit the neighborhood is, where everyone knows everybody. Often, you would find residents jogging, strolling, biking, or just walking. Briargrove's biggest pride is the award-winning Briargrove Elementary School. Although there are still many ranch style homes in the neighborhood, the home prices vary from a 3-bedroom townhome for around $300K to a 7,500 sq. ft. mansion for $3M+.
