The kids in the choir sang and held up signs with animals on them and a few had stuffed animals and one really long snake.......

Hi Michael,

Yes there have been so many cutbacks and programs are many times left up to the parents and their churches. The choir director Mrs. Thurber has been working with the Choir (3 age levels) for 40 years+. She is amazing the way she can control a room full (60 kids) of 4-7 yrs old kids. All of the kids know she means business so she get the job done. Several times I was asked to come and stand in the back of the room for talking problems with my kids. It did not make me happy.

It is a great learning program for the kids to find their musical abilities. I loved to watch them for years and still do even though mine our grown. Funny I still remember the words to the songs. When they are really little, they cannot read so you have to practice with them constantly to learn the words. Words I cannot forget now.......

Hi David,

It would be a very sad world without the music programs. My daughter played in a Saxophone Quartet for 4 years and played the piano from the time she was 5 yrs old. Music is food for the soul. You are so right David.
