Inflation Rises as Stocks Fall

After several days of performing quite nicely indeed, equity markets here had a day of losses.  As the day began it seemed there would be  some selling and profit as a result of the recent gains.  It is not surprising to see this kind of reaction after a couple days of record closing for the Dow and the S & P 500.  Add in a little dose of inflation from the Producer Price Index and presto the formula for 101 point loss for the Dow.
