Road Hogs
This picture was taken on River Road south of Venice Florida at about two o’clock in the afternoon on my way to a showing appointment. It reminds us that it is not just the traffic we have to be cautious of while you are driving on a busy road.

Wow, from the title, I was expecting some fat guys on Harleys. These are not the kind of hogs I like to see.
Kwee, I was thinking of aggressive drivers, not real animals. Would freak out if we saw these animals on the side of the road. We have to be careful at dusk for deer, and sometimes a loose raccoon.
Kwee, so the expression goes "keep your eyes on the road" you never know what might be in your path.

When driving you have to expect the unexpected especially with all the texting and driving these days!
South Florida has a lot of wild hogs. I hit one just outside the Fort Myers/Naples International Airport.
Cute. Unfortunately a mama bear an done of her 2 cubs were not so fortunate on I-75 yesterday in Naples.
Hello Kwee ... Great shot and Nevada has what's called "Open Ranch" which means there are NO fences between the roads and open fields. Any and all animals run FREE.

Kwee, These hogs are very scary and we do have them running wild in South West FL.
Kwee, still have to chuckle, and would need to pull over to take a photo if I saw a hog in the road!

I also thought of Harleys when I read your title. But after seeing your photograph, the first thing that came to my mind was, exactly what Joan said, and I would definitely pull over to take a photo too!
