Old Louisville SpringFest this Weekend

The highly-anticipated Old Louisville SpringFest is happening this Friday, May 16th and Saturday, May 17th. The festival will be open Friday from 5:30 pm until 10:30 pm and Saturday from Noon until 10:30 pm. The festivities will take place on 1st Street between Oak Street and Magnolia Avenue both days. This is a free to attend event.

The Old Louisville SpringFest was named as one of the top road trip destinations for Spring 2012 by Travel and Leisure Magazine. The 2014 SpringFest will feature the Kosair KidsZone, where the youngsters will find an entire area just for them. There will be games, face painting and lots of fun activities. The adults will appreciate the Parisian Flea Market, which will offer over 100 booths of local vendors and local associates offering handmade items, unique wares, antiques, pieces of architectural history and more.

1st Street will be ringing with music and entertainment for the duration of the event. Families working up an appetite will find plenty of food, drinks and beer at the beer garden. The adults can enjoy wine or something stronger drink at the Bourbon Tent and there will be plenty to eat from the gourmet food trucks catering to the event.

Old Louisville SpringFest offers entertainment for the whole family this Friday and Saturday. 1st Street between Oak Street and Magnolia Avenue will be the host of this happening springtime event, so don’t miss out on the fun!
