Say Something Nice To Someone Today
My wonderful cousin, Tommy Wolfe from Savanna TN, who sends me those beautiful Sunday cards and messages each week just sent me this, and I wanted to share it with you. This is a true story of a 92 year old woman coming out of a store, after getting into her car a man jumped in the passenger side with the intent to rob her, instead he got a big surprise. Her story was aired on a local Memphis TN news station. It's an inspiring story about how this lady saying Jesus was always with her and ministering to the would be robber, turned a potential harmful situation into helping the person instead. Whoever this man is I hope this changed his life, I can't imagine how it would not have made a profound impact on him. We can all learn something from this short news clip, in fact there are a lot of lessons here when you really stop and think about it. People respond to someone with true convictions, and a kind word. She turned a totally negative situation into something totally different by her reaction to the situation. We all can, even if it is just by responding to someone who says something bad to us with something nice instead of nasty and getting mad. Being kind to someone is really an easy thing to do, we all should try it more often, the world would be a much happier, brighter place for all of us. So turn up the volume, and get ready to smile. Wish there were a lot more people like this kind lady in the world, and it can start with me and you.

I have a cross stitch my mother in law, who is no longer with us, did for me that says, "Do you suppose, oh could it be, that peace on earth might start with me"! I plan on going out of my way to find someone, hopefully more than one person to say something nice to tomorrow, and go out of my way to spread some love in the world. It's a habit, and a good one I'm going to work on, just say something nice to someone whose path crosses yours, in some small way we can all make a big difference.
