Two of the top 10 richest towns in the United States are in Connecticut.

The list was published by Time and used data from the U.S. Census Bureau and the website FindTheBest. FindTheBest ranked zip codes with populations more than 10,000 by percentage of households earning more than $150,000 per year. The data was derived from five-year averages from the American Community Survey.

Weston (06883) came in at No. 3, and Darien (06820) landed in the 8th spot. According to the report, 59.7% of Darien households make more than $150,000, and 95% of residents identified themselves as caucasian — making it the least diverse of the top 10 richest towns.

In Weston, 67.3% of households make more than $150,000, according to the report. "The smallest of the 10 wealthiest zip codes, 06883 is home to 10,203 residents, just large enough to earn a spot in this study," the Time article states.

The richest town in the country? That's just to our south, in Short Hills, NJ. Rounding out the top five are Fairfax Station, Va., at No. 2; Great Falls, Va., at No. 4; and Chappaqua, NY, at No. 5. Check out the Time article to see what other towns made the top 10.
