One of the things I really enjoy about this network is the Q&A section. Every morning coffee cup in hand I would log on and look for questions that I could answer. It made me feel good about being a Realtor. I even had a couple of folks call me. I felt I was doing what I am "chartered" to do. Lately it seems that most of the questions are from people looking to do things on Active Rain. There are very few consumer questions and when they come in they are strange. Is it just me or do others see the Q&A section content changing?
NOW FOR THE BONUS
Last night I am watching the News hour on PBS. They are doing a thing about Baltimore housing. In this case they are getting on a lender. The story is the same, Bad lending, blah .blah , blah, Foreclosures Blah , Blah. We have all heard it many times. Then they interview this guy who bought a home. Let's call him Joe. Joe seems like a reasonable guy, he had some money down but he is in a mess. The First thing the Narrator of the story says, is "Joe made a lot of rookie mistakes, He did not get an agent" !!! Oh my Gosh !!!! I wish I had TIVO. I jumped up from my chair saying yes ,yes finally somebody matter of fact says, hey use an agent!! Or at least it is a mistake not to use one. Some one who is not in NAR or related to our industry spoke the obvious truth. As you can see I am still juiced about it. That's your bonus. Pat yourself on the back , The News hour said not using an agent to buy was a mistake
HORRRRRAAAAYYYY for us!!!!!
