You have not been singled out for displeasure, discomfort, loss, disappointment, failure, bad luck, errors, pain, sorrow, mistakes, bad decisions, faux pas, embarrassment or miscellaneous fears both good and bad. Actually these are distractions.

LIFE HAPPENS

Life and all its surprises come with these little unusual chain of events circumstances that try to disturb us as we go and others and that's par for the life course. What I am saying is that all of us have issues of some kind or another. So what? There is so much more that is worthy going on

LOOKING AT SOMEONE ELSE?

That's why when someones little story surfaces, everyone wants to know about it. The attraction is that this could be me or a part of me and I want to see what it looks and feels like on someone else. Misery and misfortune is no respecter of persons. It comes and goes at random. Check on yours first so you can start to get good at checkmating

ADVERSITY SHOULD NOT BE MOCKED

Some people egg it on or allow it to overstay its welcome. That's the part we can control is how long we visit with the doldrums or defeat arenas.  I have been there but I like to just pass through. I have been knocked down but I have a real good class act of getting back up, dusting myself off and continuing with a few bruises and tears to briefly remind me of the episode.

YOU CAN CHOOSE

Another good thing that helps tremendously is when you discover the power of your own personal choice in your life. I am talking about right down to the subtle details of your existence. EXAMPLE: A friend was sharing that they went to a personal meeting and it was very unpleasant. They knew it would be ahead of time...they still went. That's the choice process I am talking about

CHOICES ABOUND

They could have not gone is another. They could have changed the location or environment. How about the outcome... the way they wanted it to go and if not, then the exit they could live with instead of complaining and judging. This person could only gossip about what happened while there. Exercise your choice in the matter

CONTRIBUTE AND A DIFFERENCE IS MADE

Playing the victim is so easy to do. Look what happened to me oh my! Sometimes, but rarely, there are overwhelming circumstances that do have their way. I am speaking about the part you play or are not playing that alters or offsets those occasions. Work the part that you can work

STEADY AS SHE GOES

Assessing oneself to see how improvement can become part of your journey, learning from your mistakes and others mistakes helps... and preparing for potential eventual mishaps or hiccups is a good heads up before diving in. Taking charge of your life can influence your circumstances greatly. Take the rudder, steer the course and the satisfaction of whatever happens is yours

BEG SOMEWHERE ELSE

We can influence our lives for the better. We can make a difference in our outcomes regardless of the beating down or unplanned events. Mankind was created to soar, explore and adventure and defeat is not part of our destiny even though it is constantly begging to be so

STOP...LOOK...and then CHOOSE

Learn to STOP, LOOK (assess) and CHOOSE and watch that little process make big changes in your life beginning right now. Remember, it is done to you as you believe so work those personal beliefs into a results frenzy. Cast off the non performing beliefs as well

Who was it that said...if at first you don't succeed, try, try again?
