Dumfries VA is located in Prince William County approximately 25 miles south of Washington DC. Dumfries is conveniently located close to several military bases including Quantico, Fort Belvoir and The Pentagon.

One of my favorite places in Dumfries VA is Dolphin Beach and Potomac Shores. Dolphin Beach is on Lake Montclair and within the established community of Montclair that has been around for a while. Potomac Shores is a brand new community that is currently being developed with a planed marina, town center all built along the Potomac and around the Potomac Shores Golf Course.
