New Construction in Parker, Colorado
Looks like some construction will be underway soon in the Parker area. The city of Parker recently approved an expansion of the Cottonwood Highlands community, which is located just north of C-470, between South Jordan and South Chambers Roads.
The accelerated development of the area around the E-470 corridor is part of the reason that Parker approved this expansion which will double the number of multi-family residential units in Cottonwood Highlands (there will be 1,230 units in total ). The goal of this development is to create a living working community, that contains a mix of both residential and commercial properties. Some of the commercial uses in the area may include professional offices, big box retailers, movie theaters and other similar commercial ventures. Builders are planning on ensuring that Cottonwood Highlands is pedestrian friendly and to also conserve and enhance the value of the land, which promises to make this new development something truly outstanding.
Construction for this new project is set to begin sometime this summer, and will be built in numerous phases. As we get more information about this project, we will be sure to pass it along to you!
