The Red Sox were on the radio this morning at 6:45 playing ball in Tokyo, Japan!  It was snowing in Houlton, Maine as Elliot and I ate our cornflakes.

It struck me as hard to believe baseball has started again in Red Sox Nation, while a regular snow fall of 180+ inches in Aroostook County continues to break records with new snow coming down as I blog this morning.  Little league in Houlton Maine will be having sign ups, the Northern Maine Soap Box Derby  13th race is approaching. With all the winter snow, wonder how it may affect these events.  Spring high school tennis will be inside for awhile and it will take a commercial snowblower to clear the courts outside at Community Park! Go Red Sox! Watch videos of the series with the Oakland A's here! For your piece of Aroostook County..consider owning some recreational land to enjoy vacations at!

I'm sure you're tired of it by now, but it looks (and sounds) beautiful.  I'm afraid I can't relate, seeing as we're reaching the low- to mid-70's this week.  If you ever need a warm sunny spring break, head to the Carolinas!

We have rain here, almost daily.  I would rather be in an area with sun or snow.  Anything but rain.

It does look very peaceful.  Just think of how welcome the spring will be when it eventually comes!

New England is beautiful, we are always there in summer and for xmas! :)  To escape the heat from Maryland, we go up to New Hampshire, to a little town called Gorham.  Way up north and that town is like an hour to the Canadian border!

Here in Idaho we had a record snowfall and record cold temps. So much for global warming.

Lynn...it is a beautiful four season playground!

J..must get some snow  right?

Chris, climbing on a cruise ship in about three weeks with family and that sun and fun is anxiously awaited.

Brian, not much rain here..will UPS you some snow.

Maureen  Spring is coming..heck the Red Sox have started the season!

Houlton Maine is located 2 miles from Canadian border which is neat to be able to border hop to shop, ski and just leave the country to go out to eat easily!  Yo Yo wants you to come visit and play in the snow!
