Want to wow your clients/prospects? Here's an out of the box idea that will get them talking!

I wrote about this in the beginning of the year...I had ordered these from Lowes but the site had discontinued them. However if you visit www.cardways.com, you can order personalized gift cards ( I used my business card head shot, but try your logo - build that brand!!!) for any number of popular stores.

They are great for thank you gifts, open house drawings, closings...

Mine are going out today, as a "Spring Project Starter". They were a hit at the holidays and the response was tremendous. Buy 'em in bulk at $10 a piece and listen to the phone rrrrrrrring!

Have a great day!

Thanks guys...I also think it's a great joint marketing project...Realtor/Lender etc. And the cards can be reloaded....so tell the recipients to keep the cards, and swap them out when they attend a marketing event, then you can recycle the cards they turn in. :)

That is a good idea, Beth. Thanks for the info.

For stagers, a wonderful little thank you for the Realtor or Homeowner...get em started on their "to do" list!

Also great to have on hand for last minute school/club donations, a token for someone who went out of their way for you. Get your face all over town! :)

Great idea! I checked out the site, but I didn't see the price. Is the gift card personalization free if you buy 25 or more cards or if you buy the $4.50 card? (plus the gift card value of course!)

Thanks!

Hi Brad

I just re-ordered 25 at $10 a piece and with postage it came to $267.00 - maybe a small set-up? Not sure, my assistant isn't here to pull the invoice, I'm helpless! I don't use the cards, I prefer to write my own letters or insert them in my own cards. Aren't they great?

Beth;

What a fabulous idea!  Thanks for sharing.  I'm going to check it out, but I'll have to keep them hidden...a Lowes or Home Depot gift card seems to burn holes in my husband's pockets! ha!

Cheers!

Thanks for that tip.  I just bought a Home Depot card as part of a giveaway.  This would have been MUCH more memorable!!

I recently ran into a client who, even though he used the gift card, is still carrying it because he thinks it's clever and is a neat way to refer me to others (bless him!) Hey, you gotta come up with something FUN and DIFFERENT!

Andrea - there's always next time, right?

Gina, thanks for the compliment!

Very cool idea.

We are big on thank you cards to all the REA and FSBO's after we do a job for them.

I think they would appreciate this much better then a starter cleaning kit we put together for them for their new house or a box of chocolates we give out:)

Great Idea.

Best Wishes

Really, the uses for these cards are endless...I gave one to a buyer and home inspection yesterday and she was delighted. A little gesture sure goes a long way!

Even if you only sent to your Top 50 clients and referral partners I can see how it would be vry effective.  Thanks!

I like this idea. I will check it out. Thanks for sharing it. I work my sphere very diligently and always try to find something "extra" to send periodically throughout the year. Thanks for the idea. May be something I can use!
