The number of distressed sales (short sales and bank owned sales) fell again this month. This is has been a trend for several months now. Considering the much lower amount of distressed sales and the higher median prices it certainly looks like the worst is behind us.
The amount of home sold for the month was also up over last year for the first time in a long time. That combined with the rising (slowly) inventory of available homes is a good sign.
