ANNUAL BARN AND BOOK SALE IN SHERMAN
It’s not too late to catch the well-loved ANNUAL Memorial Day Week-End BARN AND BOOK SALE in Sherman, CT. This highly-anticipated event is being held on Saturday, May 24 9:00am - 4:00pm and Sunday, May 25th 9:00am - 12 Noon.
The Historical Society barn, located on Rte 37 in Sherman, near Rte 39N, is fully stocked with all sorts of great finds, antiques, collectibles, furniture, household and garden items and other treasures such as rugs, original art, posters and toys. In other words, “something for everyone”, even if it’s just a tasty snack - yes, there will be food alongside the other goods.
Just across the street from the Barn Sale in Sherman, the newly-renovated Sherman Library will be conducting its annual book sale. Stock up on your favorite reading at tremendous savings. Most hard-cover books are only $2.00; some paperbacks are even less.
Both events, the Barn Sale in Sherman as well as the Sherman Library book sale, are fund-raisers for their respective organizations. Items for sale at the Sherman Barn were generously donated by local residents and supporters of Sherman.
