Finally! A DIY that I Can Do! There is an unwritten rule in my house that says I am not allowed to use power tools. It usually ends badly and ultimately costs more in the long run. I watch all of those DIY videos until the part where they wip out the $800 migafilator as if everyone has one laying around, and proceed to remodel a bathroom in a 12 minute video. As Spring came around, I noticed that a few of the window screens had holes in them. I would like to say it was my keen eye and attention to the little details, but they were brought to my attention by my 15 year old Daughter who found the wasp in the kitchen. I was going to take them out and bring them to the local hardware store to have them repaired until my "y" chormosome kicked in and told me to check google before commiting to a professional. There I was... face to face with an 11 minute and 22 second video on how to repair a window screen. Having been in this position before and knowing it would be a waste of time I quickly proceeded to hit the play button. To my surprise I actually finished the entire video and felt like I was ready to take the task on myself. I was ready to claim my position as Master of My Domain! Off to Home Depot! I am happy to report that all screens are repaired and I have earned some much needed street-cred when it comes to DIY projects. Here is the video that I watched and I recommend to all who have holes in their window screens. Trust me... If I can do it, anybody can do it! Good Luck!
