I've heard people say, "The Best thing about getting my job done, is getting paid" Yes, that is one of the many perks of getting any job done and completed is getting paid.
When I complete "My Job" it really never ends - the job or the file state: CLOSED, but the job is never completed. Yes, I do like getting my commission check at closing, but the best part is knowing that I did my best to get to closing and see happy clients at the closing table.
Today, I closed a deal that was a short sale listing that I received back in August of 2013 - A full price offer came in right before Thanksgiving and dealing with the Banks sure wasn't easy and asking for extensions and having multiple reviews by both lenders sure did take a few months. The best part was that both seller and buyer were not giving up and they wanted to get to closing.
It helps to have all parties coming together and working on accomplishing the number one goal; which is to bring Mr. & Mrs. Buyer and Seller together at closing.
Shout out to the Buyer's agent for holding her clients hand and the Title company to make things happen and making sure we came to a closing!
This task may now be complete, but the job isn't finished. I have now built a new friendship with my happy client who's already giving me a referral and I have a new buyer's agent as a friend who truly appreciates coming to closing with no headaches or hiccups! This deal may have taken several months, but when you see two happy clients at closing - it's well worth it and now on to the next client!
