The Interurban Trolley, Elkhart, Indiana,

takes riders shopping, to college and to work.

The Trolley, a bus that looks like a historic trolley, has saved a lot of heartache for those folks that have transportation problems, going to the grocery stores, shopping, downtown Elkhart and Goshen, as well as, to Ivy Tech College and Goshen College.  Let's not forget Elkhart General hospital and Goshen Hospital.

Thee are 5 routes that are color coded for easy recognition.

The main transfer station is downtown Elkhart on Franklin St. just west of Main Street. They have key destinations, with stops in-between.

Red Line from Elkhart to Goshen 

Goshen College downtown Elkhart and downtown Goshen,

both Walmarts, north and south of Goshen, Meijers,

and even to the Eisenhower Industrial Park.

Blue Line - North Point

North Point Mall and Walmart at County Road 6

Yellow Line - Bittersweet

Downtown Elkhart to Martin Supermarket

Green Line -West

Downtown Elkhart to Elkhart General Hospital and Walmart on Old 20

Orange Line - East

From Elkhart to Concord Mall and Ivy Tech College

 

The Trolley's run Monday through Saturday

(No service is available on Sundfays or Major holidays)

Yep, you see them everywhere. I remember when I lived in South Carolina the bus system was so good you didn't even need a car! And pretty inexpensive to take to and from work.
