We finally closed on this awesome townhome located in Castleberry Hill in the Castleberry Row subdivision. This one was a traditional resale that started to feel like a short sale. We worked through several contract issues starting on February 1st until today May 29th until we got it closed.
I complimented everyone on working together as a team to get the job done. The buyers are happy, and the seller is happy. All parties walked away with a win. There were so many times where one party or another was ready to throw in the towel and terminate the contract. But thank God we finally got through it.
I encourage Atlanta buyers to prepare to exercise lots of patience in any real estate transaction where lending is involved. The lending rules are still pretty tight, and the underwriters often generate several conditions to be satisfied prior to final loan approval with a clear to close.
