Make sure to update your listing with those Spring Photos

Spring Landscape

This weekend I was taking photos of one of my listing.   It was a very delightful thing to do because this homeowner knew how important curb appeal is to the home selling process.

The landscaping offered a variety of plants , shrubs and colorful blooms.  If I was in the market house for a home in that price range everything about the property was welcoming.

To you home sellers remember you have to work with your agent to get your home sold.  Give the agent something to photograph such as a colorful garden.

Great reminder!  I pulled up a listing last week for a buyer, it had snow in the photo!  We haven't had snow for 5 months!

Catherine it is important to take new photos.   I have one listing with snow, a commerical listing, I should have permission to take new photos next week.

Eric it sure is good for curb appeal.  Have a great week too.

Wonderful curb appeal, and a great photo. Living where I do we don't give much thought to seasonal changes. They occur, but in a more subtle way.

Updating the photos, and changing the order they are presented can freshen up a listing.

I think this is a good idea.  Here are our seasonal changes are not that extreme, we can get clear sunny days in winter with the grass still green, but it can still make a difference.

So many listings here in my local area were showing Christmas decoration in March. Your on target with this post. Many have to learn about being current.

Oh my goodness....my biggest pet peeve, or one of them anyway! Pictures are the first way our buyers see a home. I even found one the other day showing HALLOWEEN decorations! It's JUNE! Thanks!

Right on Jennifer...I do believe some of these agents leave it this way so they can do both sides of the transaction ...a huge fax pas.

Nothing devalues a listing worse than out-of-date, out of season pictures.

Buyers come in ready to attack what they think are shop-worn, take-any-offer properties

Nothing devalues a listing worse than no pictures on the MLS, yet I've seen many lately. Go figure.

Just today I saw a listing with snow on the exterior--it was the first shot on the listing.  What does that say about the agent?

This is a very well manicured landscape. Hopefully it will help get the home sold fast. Updated photos are always a good idea.
