Now that is a lrage Blue heron in my opinion. he looks like he there on his perch for however long what he is doing will take. good picture.

Great shot, Endre.  He seems quite happy on his 'throne'.  There are so many opportunities for quality bird watching in our area, we're fortunate.

That's a very solid throne that Mr Blue Heron is perched upon!

Lovely photo Endre. Our local herons are not on my list of "favorites," as they have consumed all my Koi fish in the garden pond!

I've always been in awe by the blue heron. There's something mystical, majestic, and meaningful about its existence. They all deserve their own throne and it's our job to give them space and respect.

Those are some big birds, Endre.  He looks quite contemplative.  And, I agree, the developers (most of them) have really done a disservice to this creations of nature!
