Has the Housing Market Recovered?

The market is in what I would call a near constant state of recovery and improvement. The numbers that we continue to see are promising, but what is recovery?

Check out this info-graphic from KCM’s blog. It gives some pretty positive real estate love!

Home sales report

What does recovery look like? Everyone has said we’ll never see the booming years like 2005 again. Really? What do “they” know? I mean, nobody saw the bust coming, at least if they did, nobody listened or they whispered it in a very loud room.

I don’t anticipate 2005 coming back, but I do anticipate continued improvement. Owning a home will still be the American Dream, and it will still be possible for many.

So, what is your measure of “recovery?”

I always like hearing someone else's take Andy and I agree with you.  By all accounts I see, the market has largely recovered.  Prices may still be below peak pricing in some areas for a number of hears but overall I think the market is quite healthy in most spots including my area in Park City, Utah.
