Market Action Index is a good leading indicator for the durability of this trend. While the Market Action Index shows some strengthening in the last few weeks, prices have settled in a bit of a plateau. We currently seem to be in a Seller’s market so prices might likely resume their climb should this trend persist.
The average price per square foot for Moorpark was $274, an increase of 12.3% compared to the same period last year. The median sales price for homes in Moorpark for Mar 14 to May 14 was $492,500 based on 60 home sales. Compared to the same period one year ago, the median home sales price decreased 1.5%, or $7,500, and the number of home sales decreased 35.5%.
