California Poppies - There's Gold in Them There Hills!

I went fishing today with my oldest son. We went up into the foothills behind Pine Flat Lake. We both wished others could have been with us to see what we saw. I hope that when you see these pictures you can get an idea of how absolutely beautiful it was.

Hi Irina,

I shot those pictures with a Nikon D200 using a either a Sigma 10-20 or Nikon 18-55 - one or the other - not sure which.  I had a Nikon D300 also  but dont take that with me on trips like this.

Do get out and see the planet.  WE all need to get plenty of sunshine.
