So I am getting back into blogging, commenting and working on social media this week. I had been doing great this year with keeping my commitment to blogging, up until April, when my son came home for the summer.
It's hasn't just been my son taking up my time though. I have had family visiting, hosted a graduation party for my niece and have been planning two extended family vacations this summer. We are also in the process of buying a new home. So basically life has been getting in the way of my commitment to blogging.
My son is away visiting friends and family in NY this week, and things have settled down regarding the home purchase at this point. We are no longer looking, and are past the inspections and negotiations and basically at a less hectic stage.
This week it feels really good to be back to my routine, but I am not sure how long it will last. I have more family coming to stay in the next month. We are planning on closing at the end of this month and will be doing work,on the new house for most of July, before heading up to DC for a family reunion/uncles 80th birthday celebration, the last week of the month.
We will move the beginning of August most likely, and I will be heading to my hometown on Long Island mid month for my brothers wedding. The day after I get back, we will be moving my son back to UF for his junior year and his first year of living off campus in an apartment with friends.
I expect life will continue to get in the way of blogging and social media, for most of the summer, but I will do it whenever I can. I am very blessed to have the life I do, and wouldn't change a thing.
