Spring and early summer means that Farmers Markets, Farm Stands and CSAs will once again be in full swing. Here in the North Attleboro-Attleboro area there is no shortage of places where you can purchase fresh local produce and support the local growers.

CSA, Community Supported Agriculture, is a prepaid subscription to a farm's produce for the season. Most CSAs give shareholders a weekly supply of veggies, herbs, fruits and sometimes even eggs and meat.

Farmers Markets

·         The Farmers Market at Attleboro Farms, 491 Hickory Rd. North Attleboro. Sundays from 12 to 3pm. This is a year round market, indoors during the winter months, with special holiday markets.

·         Attleboro Farmers Market, Finberg Field, 732 Park St. Attleboro.  Saturdays  9AMto 1 PM

·         Plainville Farmers Market, Old Wood School 200 South St. Plainville. Sundays 10 AM to 2 PM. June 15 to November 2,2014

 All are members of the Southeastern Massachusetts Agricultural Partnership (SEMAP). SEMAP is dedicated to preserving and expanding access to local food and sustainable farming in Southeastern Massachusetts through research and education.
