Moneyrates.com says Utah is a Top 10 Place to Make a Living...AGAIN!
Utah ranks #5 in the Top 10 list, moving up 3 spots from last year! This study is based on:
- Average salary, according to figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).
- Cost of living, based on data from C2ER.
- Employment rate, based on BLS data.
- Workplace conditions, based on the "Work Environment" component of the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index.
Cost of living is lower along with unemployment numbers and working conditions are above average. Though wages are on the lower side and tax rates are above average, take home pay is affected by those two factors. Quality of life is also a plus when it comes to southern Utah!
If you are not happy where you are in your job, consider a move to the St. Georgeous area, it may just be what you need!
