Living in the Montibello Neighborhood
Montibello is a community of homes located off Carmel Rd between Ballantyne and the South Park areas of Charlotte NC. Like many of the neighborhoods off Carmel, Montibello is an older community that began construction 1967. However homes have been built in the area as recently as the early 2000's as well. The homes in Montibello are truly the definition of luxurious Charlotte living. The smaller properties start out at a modest 2200 sqft, and the largest can go into 6000-7000 sqft. The neighborhood is lovely to live in with lush, landscaped yards and large mature trees lining every street. These gorgeous homes were constructed primarily with brick but many were built with stone, wood or vinyl. In addition, the majority are two story traditional style homes. The footprint of the neighborhood is actually quite large and and the homes have sizeable lots starting at about 1/2 acre and going up over 2 acres. Recently sold properties in Montibello have sold anywhere between $350,000 and about 1 million.
Convenient Location between Ballantyne and SouthPark

Montibello is located off of Carmel Road very close to both the South Park area and the most southern part of Charlotte, Ballantyne. Not to mention it's close proximity to Uptown charlotte as well. Montibello's central location allows for a quick commute to virtually any part of the greater Charlotte area. The Montibello neighborhood is also surrounded by some of the other most luxurious neighborhoods in Charlotte. Being so close to South Park and Ballantyne means easy access to all the of different shopping and restaurant options the two locations have to offer. Montibello's convenient location truly gives the active South Charlotte resident plenty to choose from. It's located about 8 minutes to I-485, 10 minutes to I-77, 8 minutes to SouthPark Mall, 20 minutes to Uptown Charlotte, 30 minutes to the CLT Airport, and 40 minutes to UNC Charlotte.
