Today is my first entry on my blog and I'm looking forward to seeing how many people actually read this.

Our local real estate market is what you're interested in, so here's what I have found to be true. The sellers are steadily seeing results in getting things sold. We have seen an increase in showings and therefore offers being written. If sellers are willing to prepare their home and price it within what other 'solds' have come in at, we are seeing those homes move quickly.

Buyers...you should be making your move NOW! Don't think that prices will go down much more, most sellers have made the adjustments needed and are close to their current listed prices. Don't be afraid to make your investment today...it will be well worth it overall.

My outlook in selling existing homes in the area continues to be optimistic due to this great location we live in. Soon the lakes will become liquid again and we will really have fun in our 'lakes area'...hope you're willing to join us.

Check in with me next week and find out how things are changing.

It snowed hard yesterday here in Idaho. I planted my early garden stuff last weekend and I am hoping that it did not kill the seeds.

Carrie!  Glad to hear things are picking up in your area.   I have seen a definate light here at the beach.  The buyers that have hung in there are serious and want their vacation homes before the season starts.  We are busier than we have been and not only do I sit New Construction a few days per week I also have several resale listings that I am trying to move.  I have seen an increase in activity over the last few weeks.  YEAH!!!!  Warm weather brings out the buyers so lets make a deal in !

Carrie, it's 10 degrees this morning in Bemidji, and winter is feeling very long. However, the market seems to be moving here too. I see lots of new listings, but several pendings as well. Spring is the time here in Minnesota to plan for a move.
