According to the National Association of Realtors its membership as of May 30, 2013 was 997,148 members. With nearly a million members...if you don't look different...if you're not doing something different or if you are not seen by the public as a "value add" and more importantly if you are not ALWAYS putting your clients best interest first it's fairly easy to get lost in the crowd.

My value add to a client comes from over 30 years of real estate experience including: investing & flipping homes, buying my first home in the late '70's, appraisal, being a managing broker of my own brokerage in Illinois, managing broker for @HomesBirmingham and Broker under the @Homes Realty Group here in Huntsville Alabama. When interviewing with a seller or a buyer I show up prepared and better than my competition, knowing the market stats, the area, builders, HOA's and schools well. Clients are given everything they need to make informed decisions and I'm not afraid to tell them the truth if their house is over-priced, needs work before listing, or simply needs to be de-cluttered & staged. The client does not hire me to be their friend and paint a rosy picture of their home if it's not warranted. I'm the one they can be upset with or share concerns....I'm the one they depend on! Buyers get the same care while finding them a home as I point out the good and the not so good attributes of a home or external features. I'm never pushy unless it's the right house for them. I love to negotiate on their behalf getting them the home they want for the least sale price and best terms. Clients know that I'm always available, willing to go above and beyond and most importantly no matter what...my clients come first...ALWAYS!
