Well the spring selling season has started out with a bit of a thud in the Anthem Country Club real estate market. The number of homes sold decreased versus April, the average sale price dropped too, and the days on market although decreasing slightly from April, is still far higher than a year ago. This combined with the list to sales price decreasing emphasizes the importance of sellers pricing their homes correctly from the onset. The 12 mos. moving average sale price now stands at $387,018, 8% better than last year. The number of homes currently on the market stands at 105, a 10% decrease from April, and the number of homes under contract in the Country Club is 25.
