Positive Words Generate Positive Energy

Donna Foerster bring us some wise words about being careful of the energy around us.

Negative, complaining people carry heavy, negative energy - and they'll more than willing to share it with anyone and everyone who comes near them.

The result is an energy drain on you - which reduces your productivity and takes the joy out of work.

Choose positive people (like Donna, for instance) - they'll lift you up and give you more energy!

Positive Words Generate Positive Energy

"Negative people need drama like it was oxygen.

Stay positive...and take their breath away."

A few nights ago, I spent a few minutes visiting with someone I know at a networking event. I guess I never realized before how truly negative she is. She had very few nice things to say about anyone, not even herself. Finally I had to get up from the table. I told her I needed to stretch my legs, which I did need to do. I also needed to get away from her negative energy. She was bringing me down.

A few seats away was someone I hadn't met before, so I sat with her and learned about her business and shared with her about mine. It was a very pleasant conversation. She smiled a great deal and was very friendly. A very positive experience.

I need to minimize the negative in my life. It's draining. Positive words and energy create positive actions and feelings. I much prefer the positive. If necessary, I will search out the positive as I did the other night.

Marte, I'm a HUGE believer in this! Drama queens have no place in my life. I'm off to go commend Donna for her positive vibes!

Marte, that's one of the 'foundation of success' - learned at BOLD training to use the positive words and see the positive change!

Gayle - I agree. They are best avoided.

Praful - That's the truth. And it sure is an entertaining way to annoy a negative person. Some of them can get pretty frustrated when they can get you to buy in to their gloom and doom.

Barbara - It sure is - it's as bad as the flu. Or perhaps worse.

Debbie - I do too. I'm not sure where to find some in person, so I'll hang out here when I can.

Donna - I know - it shines through!

Donna is so right. I had to stay away from several agents in an office I worked at. Negative people are very draining.

Toni - They sure are. And so are people who love to discuss negative news. My 86 year old neighbor comes by almost every evening at 5:00 - and he's just finished listening to the news. For the most part I just tune him out.

I will say, he sometimes reports something heartwarming - like a dog greeting his person who has just returned from the military. But then... it's so good that he cries.

Great selection for a reblog Marte.  I'm guessing by reading Donna's post, she is a pretty positive gal! when making a point to think positive, it doesn’t happen over night. But it’s worth making the choice to view the cup as half full.

Bette - Yes, Donna is a remarkable woman. She's has trying health challenges and has managed to maintain her positive attitude throughout. Of course she's quick to give credit to her family - that's the way she is!
