The Positive Attitude for the Weary Soul and the Inspiration!! Groups have long since been places to get and give inspiration as well as lifting weary souls to positive levels from the day of their inception into the ActiveRain Group O'Rama last summer. (We currently have 3291 Groups on ActiveRain....wow! )
Don't you all believe that the Spring season is such a beautiful and positive season? The flowers are in bloom, sunny blue skies, cool air, a little breeze through your hair, birds chirping and the miracle of new life surrounding us! Well, I sure get a dose of inspiration; of ‘spring fever' when this season arrives and thought....what better way to boost our community with lots of spring fever but with a bonding of members from both groups (and any new members as well).
So, with this in mind, our own Jo-Anne Smith (founder of Inspiration !!, and who is also founder of the Heritage Properties, Historic Sites and Antiques . and the Localism Success and Accountability Group ) and myself, Sally Cheeseman (founder of the POSITIVE ATTITUDE for the Weary Soul) are bonding together to bring you our DUAL Contest for Views in Spring! With a whole lot of inspiration and positive attitudes, your posts will give our community insight into what "A Spring Full of Inspiration and Positive Views" means to each and every one of us.
The following are some suggestions for our theme " A Spring Full of Inspiration and Positive Views ":
To improve the ActiveRain Community (Spring is in the air)- Your Family Spring "To Do List" (Cleaning, Vacations, Time together)
- How Your Inspirational and Positive Attitude reflects on those around you
- Home Staging for Spring (or your specific RE related business)
- Spring Season Tips and insight for buyers and sellers (now that the snow is/will be gone)
- Spring Views on the Real Estate (or whatever business you are in related to) Industry
- Spring Cleaning Tips for the Seller/Spring Cleaning Tips for the Relocating Buyer
- Spring Cleaning Your Marketing Techniques and Material
- Spring is......
Bottom line: Anything (within the group Guidelines) to do with Inspiration and a Positive Attitude that will bring value to the ActiveRain Community for this Spring Season.
Contest Rules and Criteria:
- Contest will start April 1, 2008 (no...it's not an April Fool's Day joke J) and end April 17th, 2008 (and time will run by the ActiveRain time stamp ONLY)
- You will need to join the two groups (if you are not members already) in order to be able to post your entry into the groups: POSITIVE ATTITUDE for the Weary Soul and Inspiration !!
- Your title must include the words Spring Inspiration & Positive Views: ----------
- Enter the words "Spring Views" in your tags separated by a comma for whatever other tags you are going to add so we are able to find the posts by clicking on the Spring Views tag.
- Content, Appearance, Inspirational/Positively Positive Views and Creative Writing (while following the group Guidelines here.....because the same rules apply with your entries) are the main points that will be judged.

She revived the e-PRO Internet Technology group and SO CAL Pass Area Communities and other Interests group. She also moderates for the POSITIVE ATTITUDE for the Weary Soulgroup and has been a consistent voice in ActiveRain for over a year. With her ‘no bones about it' she is the essence of "being positive does not mean I let you run over me" - Lola Audu- Founder of the Bloggers Choice Selections, Fraiche Aire groups is a long time member who has contributed her knowledge, her creativity in writing and loads of information to all of us. With her many series on different topics she has been a great contributor and positive force in the Rain.
- Fran Gaspari - Humor and Wit, this member has long been contributing his information and thoughts to ponder and has been a big reciprocating member of comments throughout the Rain with a big "smile".
- Kathy Clulow- Another contributing member of the rain with insight and positive input she has graduated to new levels in her blogging on the Rain since last summer.
- And a special guest judge: Nicole Rae (our ActiveRain Community Builder) who is so tickled to be judging for this contest. Nicole has been a driving force in ActiveRain and worked hard and diligently to get the number of tickets (from our clicking on the Contact button with concerns) from the time she started. She stays on top of it and keeps her inbox clean.
Prizes (Awards):
- First Place- 1000 points
- Second Place - 750 points
- Third Place - 500 points
- And 200 additional points for all other entries
